Cattelan Italia Pigalle Floor Lamp
The Pigalle artistic glass floor lamp is composed of numerous elements with different decorative finishes, hand crafted by master glass makers using the most ancient and captivating Venetian techniques.
The top and bottom elements of this designer floor lampfeature the traditional balloton lamp, which creates a distinctive three-dimensional diamond pattern using a metal mould. During the glass-blowing process, the mould’s inner spikes shape the molten glass to produce the signature faceted texture characteristic of balloton glasswork.
The central elements, on the other hand, are treated with an acid-etched finish in three different pearly shades. The visual effect of the coloured crystal is truly striking. Light reflects softly through the regular ripples and matte surface of the glass, creating a delicate and diffused glow.
The overlapping shades that form this glass floor lamp have been carefully designed in both shape and size to enrich the living area with a refined, harmonious presence—one that pairs tastefully with furnishings featuring smooth and generous lines.
